Picking the perfect home site is no small task. The prior owners, Doug and Teri Adams got it just right. The original log portion of the lodge was a kit home that arrived with each log numbered. Doug and Teri courageously assembled the home over the cold and snowy winter of 1994. They created a beautiful beginning for Sakura Ridge.
In 2007, John, Deanna and Deidra worked with accomplished local architect David Bears to add an additional 2000 square feet, incorporating a dining room, commercial kitchen, owners’ quarters and a fifth guest room.
Marion McNew, of Mount Hood Gardens, designed and installed our gardens, which won 1st place by the US Perennial Plant Association in 2010.
