Hood River has a burgeoning restaurant scene. Local farmers provide a wide array of incredibly fresh products to Hood River restaurant chefs.

Here’s a List of Our Favorite Restaurants:

Celilo Restaurant: NW cuisine at it’s finest. Chef Ben Stenn studied in France and creates classic dishes with a NW flair. Small plates, appetizers and entrees. Don’t miss the revolving dessert selection. Great place to celebrate that something special.

Hood River Taqueria: Serves authentic Mexican food in a casual environment with lots of outdoor seating. Sunday mornings the restaurant is filled with local Hispanics who order up the huge steaming bowls of soup.

Pfreim Brewery: Industrial chic, right across from Waterfront Park with plenty of windows and beer vats in the rear of the restaurant. Best known for beer, burgers, both beef and homemade veg.

Pine St. Kitchen: Serves handmade pasta and pizza, along with salads and veggies. The Pine St. Bakery next door provides fresh baked bread all day long.

Sixth St. Bistro: The locals spot for Pacific NW pub fare, with a dash of Asian fusion and French bistro showing up on the nightly special’s board and menu. Regularly offers fresh local and regional products.

Food Carts: typically don’t stay open for dinner. Find Four and Twenty Blackbird cart next to the Post Office in downtown Hood River for to go options. The trailers at the Event Site on the Columbia River provides a chance to sit on the dock and watching the kiteboarders sail through the air.
