Accommodations

A Refined REtreat

Five thoughtfully composed rooms shaped by season, light and mountain, valley and orchard views.

REfined Accommodations in Hood River

Sakura Ridge offers a small collection of thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, each providing a distinct perspective on the surrounding orchards and Mount Hood. With an intentionally limited number of accommodations, the lodge provides a highly personal and unhurried hospitality experience shaped by season, landscape, and care.

Designed with Intention

Agriculture shapes the setting, but refinement defines the experience. Italian linens, antique Japanese tansu, sustainably crafted Oregon cherrywood beds, and locally woven textiles create rooms that feel composed and enduring. Select accommodations include deep soaking tubs or private terraces oriented toward the orchard and Mt. Hood, offering space to linger at sunrise or settle into evening light.

Intentionally Limited

With just five guest rooms, availability remains limited throughout the season. Many guests plan well in advance to secure preferred dates, particularly during bloom, harvest, and autumn color. Sakura Ridge is reserved for adults only.

A Culinary Expression of the Valley

Each stay includes a seasonal multi course breakfast prepared by Chef Brennan, guided by what is at its peak in our gardens and across the Hood River Valley. Breakfast reflects the orchard, season, and the surrounding agricultural community.

A Distinct Season from April Through November

Open April through November, the orchard reveals a different character each month. Spring offers blossom and renewal. Summer brings long golden evenings. Autumn settles into crisp air and vivid foliage along the ridge.

We invite you to select the room that aligns with how you wish to experience your time here.

Suites & Rooms

The Orchard Suite

The Orchard Suite | $650 Average per night

For guests seeking the most spacious and immersive stay at Sakura Ridge.

Set at the far end of the lodge, apart from the other guest rooms, the Orchard Suite offers the most private and expansive vantage point on the ridge. From its secluded position, panoramic views stretch across the orchard toward Mt. Hood. Sunrise is visible from the private balcony, while evening alpenglow shifts the mountain in ever-changing light.

A separate exterior entrance allows for quiet arrival and departure and reinforces the suite’s sense of separation. Inside, the space feels open yet intimate, anchored by a king bed dressed in Sferra linens and framed by orchard and mountain views.

This is the only accommodation in the lodge to feature both a deep Japanese soaking tub and a separate spa shower, designed for unhurried immersion and restoration. A dedicated desk area, in-room refrigerator with sink, and a full closet create additional ease, making the suite particularly well suited for longer stays or special occasions.

Romantic, panoramic, and intentionally private, the Orchard Suite offers the ridge at its most expansive.
